Is There A Significant Relationship Of Myopia And Axial Length To Glaucoma?
Is there a relationship between axial length, myopia, thin corneas and glaucoma? Could that relationship perhaps be a manifestation of the collagen composition of the eye and it’s alteration in these cases. Does a weakened collagen network lend to the development of a “long eye” and a “thin cornea?” Would that logic then transfer to include the integrity of the lamina cribrosa making it more susceptible to pressure perfusion issues? Let’s take a look at glaucoma as it relates to myopia from the perspective of published studies to determine if myopia and axial length increases the risk.

Tom Shipley explained: "When we wrote 'One Toke Over the Line,' I think we were one toke over the line. I considered marijuana a sort of a sacrament... If you listen to the lyrics of that song, 'one toke' was just a metaphor. It's a song about excess. Too much of anything will probably kill you."
